This video gave us some ideas for editing. The way a bunch of shots are placed randomly on the screen. All of the same shot, gives the video a unique look.

Blink 182 - Always

This video has inspired us to recreate the three way shot for our video. We hope to do this with one of our shots.

Craig David - Walking Away

The walking away video has a lot of fading shots, such as a lampost fading into a tree. And urban areas fading into an autumn forest. This has given us some ideas for our video. In one of our shots we hope to film clouds for a few hours then speed up the frame rate to shrink it to about 15 seconds; we could then fade it into another shot, such as people walking fast. Using the same technique as the cloud shot.

Zocalo feat. Gabriel and Dresden inspired us because it has a few original shot ideas in it. Such as 0.31-.0.33 where the camera pans into her eye and as she blinks it changes to another shot. As the video is quite mellow as laid back, we felt like we could use some of the shots for our video.

This video has the same concept that we would like to use. Increased frame rate on a shot, giving it quite an abstract feel, it makes the video seem a lot more ambient, rather than its telling a story.

Our song choices

Our song choices were: M.I.A - URAQT, Baseboosa - Wicked Game, and Be your own PET - Girls on TV. We chose these three songs because the others did not appeal to us as much as the others did. So we chose a wide variety of genres that fitted our tastes. For example; Be your own PET is quite punky like one of our group members.
